Leaves: | basal and on the stem, basal leaves deciduous, stem leaves alternate, sessile, 3 – 10 cm long, 0.5 – 1.5 cm wide, sometimes reduced below inflorescence, linear to lance-shaped, apex gradually tapered to a point or blunt, densely white-woolly (tawny in age) to nearly hairless above, white-woolly below, midvein conspicuous below, 1 – 3-nerved, margin entire or rolled under | ||||||||||
