Morels and False Morels
Morels are delicious and highly prized edible fungi, but the
superficially similar false morels are generally poisonous. Typically morels
resemble pine cones on stalks, fruit in springtime particularly in a forest
the years first following a fire; false morels fruit spring and autumn.
